Oh no, don't be afraid.
I'm not mean... I'm just sad. I hate being tied on this chain. It's hot, and I can't stretch my legs.

 

At least, I used to be that way.

Then the incredible group of volunteers from the Coalition to Unchain Dogs arrived. There were lots of people here, and they were all working so hard under the hot sun...

At first, I didn't know what they were doing in my yard... then ... after they put up a fence, they took off my chain!

 

Woweee! Running around is so much fun!

I'm a happy dog now, but there are so many others who don't know what it's like to run and play.
