CENTRO, GOLDBERG, TC & CHINO

There comes a time when you see
a situation that is so shocking,

with dogs so desperately
sad and broken,

that you realize
someone has to fix the injustice.

But who will speak up for them?

Who will stop the pain in their eyes?
r

Who will understand that dogs deserve better than living on chains in their own feces?

And that they deserve to be something
more than intimidating fixtures in a yard?

Who will change Chino's life, so he no longer needs a rag around his infected neck wounds?

Who will ease TC's frustration from boredom...

...and pain from loneliness?

When you realize that these dogs have no one,

you decide to become the one.

And you inspire others to join you.

And everyone works together,

teaching and learning,

working together as a team.

You work until every detail
has been addressed,

sharing in the accomplishment
with your friends.

You bcome the one who gives Centro...

... the chance to run free,

to play,

to enjoy life.

You become the one who helps free Goldberg from his padlock and chain...

...allowing him to experience
what it means to stretch his legs...

...to enjoy playtime...

...to bond with his pack.

You become the one who lets TC,
r

after years of guarding this spot
and displaying aggression,

learn to trust...

...and start the healing process.

You become the one who helps him
learn to play...

...and learn to smile.

You start Chino down the road to recovery,

and you know, deep down, he is grateful.

If they could speak,
they would thank you with words,
but you see the sparkle in their eyes,
the wag in their tails,
and the spring in their steps...

...and you understand.

The dogs' heads are held high, no longer weighted down by these heavy chains.

Their lives have been changed forever,
all thanks to the Coalition volunteers -
people just like you. Won't you join us?

We're happy dogs now, but there are so many others who don't know what it's like to run and play.

Now that you've read our story and you see the wonderful work that the Coalition vounteers do, won't you paw-lease consider helping them out with your time or a donation?

Love,
Centro, Goldberg, TC and Chino
