The Coalition to Unchain Dogs raised over $12,000 in the Volunteer Center of Durham's 13th Annual "Great Human Race" on March 29th, 2008.

This will buy enough supplies for almost 40 fences (plus some doghouses and toys), and it allows us to continue the good we've been able to do so far.

We are still accepting donations for this event through April 11th, so if you've not yet contributed, please take a look at what your money will help us do, and then click the link at the bottom of the page.

$5 will buy tennis balls and chew doys for a dog who has never known how to play.
$10 will buy heavy-duty food and water bowls that won't spill or tip over.
$25 provides hay and straw to keep 5 dogs warm on a cold winter night.
$50 will purchase a dog house so that an unchained dog can stay warm and dry.
$100 will allow us to rid 10 dogs of worms and parasites or to treat 1 dog for the Parvo virus.
$266 provides us with the fencing materials we need to free 1 dog from a chain.
