Hola! I'm Madrastra.
I'm a sweet little girl - everyone says so.
So why in the world was I stuck on a chain
and tied to this tree?

 

I called out for help with my beautiful voice, and one Sunday, a group of volunteers came out to build a fence, just for me!

I supervised while they worked.

And boy, did they work hard!

Once they were finished, my humans came out to celebrate my freedom!

We're so thankful that the Coalition to Unchain Dogs came to help us.

I feel like I'm part of the family now.

Thanks volunteers! I gotta run - wheee!

 

I'm a happy dog now, but there are so many others who don't know what it's like to run and play.
