Hello
there! I'm Trina, and I am one lucky pup.
l
|
When
I was younger,
I had a disease called Parvo.
Very
few puppies with Parvo survive,
but Amanda from the Coalition came to my rescue, after my
guardian called for help.
|

Amanda
nursed me back to health, giving me intravenous fluids for
many days.
|

And
I survived!
But
now, I'm living outside on this porch.
|

I
spend my days living in my own waste,
with no room for a 6-month old pup like me to run and play.
|

It
makes me mad!
|
|
Isn't
there someone out there who can come to my rescue?
Anyone...?
|

Amanda!
You have come to save me again? - just like you did when I
was a little puppy?
l
|

Oh
my gosh! This is so cool!
And hey, you brought volunteers, too? Awesome!
|

Wow
- look at them go!
|

They're
working so hard for little ol' me!
|

They're
clearing stuff out of my yard...
|

My
human guardians are supervising...
|

And
now I have a fence of my very own!
|

Oh
boy, oh boy, let me at that yard!
|

This
is so much fun!
|

So
THIS is what it's like to be a pup!
|

Wheeee!
l
|

Whew
- all that playing wore me out!
Now I can stretch out on the cool grass and rest.
|

My
littlest guardian loves the new yard, too!
|

The
two of us can play together as we grow up.
|
|
Thank
you, Amanda and the Coalition, for helping me survive my disease
and for giving me a better life! |
I'm
a happy dog now, but there are so many others who don't know
what it's like to run and play.
Now
that you've read my story and you see the wonderful work that
the Coalition vounteers do, won't you paw-lease consider helping
them out with your time or a donation?
Love,
Trina
